SCOUT - Any person who can adapt to a changing environment, survive and thrive, who derives confidence from an artful level of skill in wilderness, and who can navigate unseen through harsh terrain by acknowledging a spiritual connection to the world around them.

A $100 deposit turns a penciled in to an inked in on the roster
Camp starts at 9am Monday morning, we get unpacked, give a brief tour if desired, and get started with group/teambuilding stuff for everyone to get to know each other, then on to classes.
DIRECTIONS to base camp
Get on interstate 40, west if coming from asheville or 26, east if coming from Tennessee.
* Take Exit 37 off of I-40. Go Left off of exit.
* Take 19/23 into Canton. Go Right (South) at the traffic light.
*Once in town, look for small bridge, Hwy 110 turns Left right before it (5.2 miles from 19/23).
* Follow 110 out to the country where it hits 276 (5.5 miles from 110 to 276), TURN LEFT ONTO 276 AT THAT LIGHT.
* About 3 miles down the way you'll see Burnette Cove Road turning Right, over the river, a large concrete bridge.
* Follow to the VERY end, gravel and all; don't turn off. It ends at 1775, cabin, field, and barn.
